PTA Reflections Ceremony

On Tuesday night, the PTA honored the 2012 Reflections winners with a
recognition ceremony at the school. The night included assorted snacks
and treats, a recognition ceremony in which the winners received their
medals, a showcase of their winning entries, and a group photo.

We congratulate all of our winners, and thank all of the students who
entered! Best of luck to those who move on to the next round.

The photo of the winners will appear in the November 29th Northampton Press.

Congratulations to the MTAA Redhawks who won the Blue Mountain Jr Pee-Wee championship today, beating Pen Argyl 18-0!

A Big Thank You!

We'd like to send out a BIG thank you to all of our Veterans,
active-duty soldiers, volunteers, parents and special guests who
helped Moore Elementary honor Veterans Day today. It was such a
special day for everyone; one that we are sure will leave a lasting
impression on all participants! We appreciate everyone taking the time
out of their lives to help out today...and we hope that we can begin
an ongoing effort to honor and thank those who make our world a safer
place to live.

Mrs. Schucker's Kindergarten Class Presents...KidWriting!

The students in Mrs. Schucker's Kindergarten class wanted to share with everyone their KidWriting that they've been working on so far this year.  All of our Kindergarteners are working hard on their KidWriting, which is a step-by-step process that builds a child's ability to correctly write complete sentences.  It is truly exciting to see the children grow with their writing throughout the school year, and we are thankful that Mrs. Schucker's class shared with us their samples!

PTA Reflections Ceremony for Moore - POSTPONED

Due to the increasing threat of inclement weather tonight, the PTA Reflections Ceremony for Moore has been postponed, and rescheduled for Tuesday, November 13th (same time).

Lehigh Valley Kids Run!

Mark your calendars now for the FREE Lehigh Valley Kids Run, Saturday April 17th, 2:00pm!

Registration forms will be sent home in late March.

Monday!

It appears as though we will be back in business Monday, as the school had power restored Friday afternoon. We are thankful for those who are helping clear roads, yards, and helping get power back to the community. We are also thankful that there have been no reports of injuries in our community as a result of the storm.

We are excited to be back, and look forward to seeing everyone Monday!
