n Approval of November minutes by two meeting attendees..
n Principal's Report, Mr. Dimmick
1. Thank you to all volunteers. Received a lot of positive responses about Santa's
Workshop and Vendor Fair. May move it to the gym next year.
2. Hawk Mtn. presentated for the 6th grade and they love it. PTA sponsored.
3. Lenape Indians will be presenting to 4th grade for an program Monetary gift
from the Northampton Educational Foundation funded this program.
4. Exploring having Ed Hanna (channel 69) in for a weather presentation.
5. $7000 donation from PTA. Moore will purchase doc.cams, projectors and
clickers.
n Committee's
1. January 9th Health Fair
a) 5-8pm, 11 Vendors
b) PTA bulletin board is right outside of APR room to announce Fair and for general use for any committee.
c) Free classes in APR room
1.) Kid's Fitness
2.) Yoga
2. Reflections, Beverly Jenkins
a) Awards program went very well.
b) Top 5 winners in each category moved on to Council.
c) Need baker's for council reflections program January 12th 2012, 7pm.
3. Holiday Stop & Shop/Vendor Fair
a) Brought in $800 profit.
4. Book Fair, Michelle Beil
a) $2308 profit
5. Holiday Party, Rachel Karc/Lynne Auger
a) Went very well. Enjoyed by all.
6. Fundraising
a) Joe Corbi's $4900 profit
b) $5000 short of fall goal.
c) Clothing Drive and Wawa Hoagie coupons
d) Gertrude Hawk in spring.
7. 6th Grade
a) Currently doing a lottery calendar fundraiser.
8. Need New Chair for the following:
a) Spring Carnival/Fitness Walk
b) Pumpkin Painting with Pop
c) Holiday Party
9. Movie Night, Kim Hartzell/Debi Gantz
a) Went well
b) Gave away popcorn and a drink
c) Sold candy
n General
1. Custodial appreciation is handled by Debi Gantz.
2. Anjello Grello has connections to local media and also Scranton/Phila.
a) Contact him if something is newsworthy.
3. If you take pictures of a Moore event, there are a few ways you can get the pictures to the yearbook staff- Mrs. Dalton is the advisor (dalton@nasdschools.org).
a) Use the community upload site- community.lifetouch.com and enter Moore's upload code: TIQJNY (all letters).
b) Give Mrs. Dalton your memory card to copy the pictures.
c) Burn picture to a CD.
d) E-mail non-compresses individual files to Mrs. Dalton.
e) Looking for students in classrooms as well as at assemblies, special events, recess and after school events.
