recognition of "International Wear Pink Day". By wearing pink, we are

schools, work and in our lives. We want to show our support for this
effort, and join the millions across the world who will be wearing
pink this Friday. Our goal, to have a complete "Pink-Out" across the
entire District!

Seating Changes Announced

On Friday (2/3/2012), seating changes were announced in some classes due to ongoing issues and concerns that have been occurring during lunch.  These new seating assignments will begin on Monday, February 6th.  Also on Monday, a note from Mr. Dimmick will be sent home with those classes whose seats were changed, explaining to parents the purpose behind these new seating arrangements.

Please know that this is one step in taking a stand against bullying in our school.  Moore Elementary is moving full-speed ahead with our Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, and we are focused on creating an environment that is safe and comfortable for all students.  Our goal through OBPP is to have Moore Elementary be a "no bullying zone".

We hope that we can count on you, the Moore parents, to reinforce our efforts of teaching children that bullying is not acceptable, and that no one should be treated badly just because they are different in some way.  We are ALL Moore Elementary School students, we are ALL Mountain Lions, and we are ALL one family...a "Pride"...and we are going to say NO to bullying!
